Formada em Medicina pela Universidade do Minho, completou pós-graduação em Imuno-Oncologia na Universidad de Navarra, formação avançada em Nutrição em Oncologia na Universidade Católica Portuguesa e o Curso deOncologia Integrativa da Mayo Clinic. Atualmente, frequenta o Programa deDoutoramento (PhD) em Survivorship na NOVA Medical School, centrado em intervenção multidisciplinar e outcomes em sobreviventes de cancro. É coordenadora de cursos de atualização médica (AHED e Dioscope) e mentora de projetos de sobrevivência e bem-estar oncológico, unindo ciência, empatia e inovação na prática clínica e académica.
Médica Oncologista no Hospital São Francisco Xavier e na CUFTejo, com forte dedicação à investigação clínica e à promoção de uma oncologia centrada no doente e baseada no estilo de vida. É investigadora principal em múltiplos ensaios internacionais de fase III e membro ativo em grupos de estudoeuropeus, com publicações em revistas como The Oncologist, Annals of Oncology eBMC Urology.

Georgios Mavropalias, PhD
Health coach and cancer rehabilitation specialist
Georgios Mavropalias is an exercise oncology and cancer rehabilitation specialist with a PhD in muscle and connective tissue adaptation. He has an international academic and clinical background, with extensive experience in exercise medicine, clinical nutrition, telehealth, and oncology-focused research.
His work spans clinical practice and research, including leadership roles in exercise oncology studies, coordination of multicentre clinical trials, and the development of personalised exercise and lifestyle interventions for people undergoing cancer treatment. His areas of expertise include managing treatment-related side effects, improving functional capacity and body composition, and integrating evidence-based exercise and nutrition into comprehensive oncology care.
Alongside his clinical and research activity, he is an experienced university lecturer and author of multiple peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals. His work contributes to advancing the role of exercise and rehabilitation as core components of modern, integrative cancer care.
Maja de Brito
Psychologist
Researcher in palliative care, doctoral student at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra with a thesis in the area of quality of support in bereavement; Member of the Palliative, End of Life and Bereavement Care research group; Co-leader of the workpackage in the European EU NAVIGATE project; Research Associate at King's College London; Full member of the Portuguese Psychologists' Association, specializing in clinical and health psychology; Completed a master's degree in palliative care at King's College London and a postgraduate degree in Bereavement in Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon; Teaches about research, methodology, bereavement and family caregivers in various postgraduate and master's degrees.

Began training in Functional Medicine, Anti-aging, and Functional Nutrition in 2011 at the IFM - Institute for Functional Medicine in London and the United States of America and completed all the IFM's Postgraduate Certification Courses. Postgraduate degree in Functional and Personalized Nutrition from NutriScience Education and Consulting in 2016.
