Redefining the future of cancer care

When I met Dr. Catarina Ribeiro I was full of doubts and very lost. I remember at the first consultation we had, I felt so relieved that I completely agreed with her approach to cancer. She explained to me things like the importance of physical exercise, muscle mass, supplementation and nutrition for patients like me. I made drastic changes that brought me many benefits, not only in terms of the disease and treatments but also in my life as a person. I am much healthier today, even with cancer, than I was before.

I am very grateful to AIM and its professionals. They helped me a lot with my case, and I know it would have been different if I hadn't found them. They made me feel well supported and gave me a lot of security and knowledge. My experience was excellent and it's good to know that I can count on them in the future. Thank you for the professionalism, dedication, availability and scientific rigor of this wonderful team! It was essential for me to participate in the course, and I think it really should be part of what is taught to our young people in school. We can't just talk about cancer in the summer and about actions to prevent smoking. We are moving towards a society that is increasingly informed but not very careful and still unaware of the essentials. I loved!

I am a nurse and I was a student in the first edition of the Oncology and Lifestyle course, and I believe that these were 10 months of learning that far exceeded my expectations. From the topics covered to the exceptional professionalism of the trainers, I feel, at this moment, like a health professional capable of making a difference in the care of people diagnosed with cancer. It was, without a doubt, the best course I have ever taken in the field of oncology. I highly recommend it.

Faced with this disease that has such an impact on the life of a person and their family/friends, it becomes extremely important to be more knowledgeable about what can and cannot be done when faced with this diagnosis so that the path is lighter, more serene, more effective, and more healing. This AIM course brings this and much more, it brings knowledge, support, sharing, motivation, in a holistic approach, to the human being as a whole. Amidst research and also trial and error, at the end of 2019 I came across Dr. Catarina Ribeiro, who took me to another level! It showed me that conventional medicine can (and should) benefit from complementarity.
